  • What the eff?!?!?

So Tiger doesn't find any harm in someone using the word "lynch" to describe how other golfers should beat him?  Excuse me?!  They should LYNCH him?  Not only did Kelly Tilghman use the word associated with the most heinous acts known to Black Americans, she even suggested hiding the act when she chose the phrase "in a back alley."  Get the eff outta here!  Her whole phrase was malicious and conniving in the words she chose to use.  Let me tell a Jewish person I've known for 12 years to go work in a concentration camp somewhere and let's see how long we stay friends.

  • I can't wrap my mind around that at all.  How could he not see that as insult?

  • i MOST DEFINITELY agree with your blog. and his dumb @$$ probably doesn't take offense because he already doesn't want to be seen as a black man, or anything half way there. so by ignoring the phrase he is saying, "Hey, I'm ok with it. It's not like I'm black, so why would it offend me?" idiot!!

  • Here I go adding controversy...I agree with Jason Whitlock that Tilghman probably (I'd have to see the video clip to make an "absolute" judgment) was being stupid rather than malicious. Folk say things all the time without the benefit of intellect - sports announcers moreso than most. I'm not saying that what she said was right or cool or should be easily forgiven: none of those are true in my opinion. What I am saying is that you spent enough time at FSU to know that the "i" in Seminoles stands for ignorant. That ignorance often knows very few boundaries. I agree wholeheartedly that she should have known better - just not that she did. They really can be as dense as a London fog.

  • i agree! tiger doesnt consider himself a black man anyway although all the white folks sho nuff consider him one! thats exactly why he let all this slide. maybe she shouldve called hima a uncle tom or a crack and then see him try raise hell and high water over those terms.

  • Girl how about I hadnt even heard anything about this!

I just so happened to be watchin BEST WEEK EVER on tv yesterday and they showed a snippet of her saying this.. it was sorta in the worst thing to say categories on the show. I was in total disbelief that she said that! LIKE ARE U FUGGIN KIDDING ME?!!!!!!!!!

But to read now that he doesnt even care... so sad!
